teleribMy professor is a member of the UMD Space Systems Lab, and is understandably following the adventures of the Mars rovers. So, he told our class that, at about the time that class would be over, NASA was supposed to announce some significant findings.
"The buzz is," he said casually, erasing the blackboard, "that those geological formations they've found," and we're all thinking of the globs that the scientists have jumped up and down to say are not single-cell fossils, "have dimensions of exactly one by four by nine."
