In other exciting news...

Gosh, nothing like typing that to bring down to earth exactly how entirely not-exciting this must be to the world at large. Welcome to LiveJournal!

Anyway, I placed an order for an Ardival Kilcoy, a small 19-string wire harp. I'm obsessed with tiny harps, yes. At first, I was told that I might get the harp before Christmas, if the wood was in stock - they'd be building it just for me! Kind of cool.

Even cooler? There was one in stock, and the maker says it "sounds very nice." This really impressed their American agent, Cynthia Cathcart, as high praise - apparently, this means that it sounds better than usual? At any rate, they can ship it as soon as I get back from the honeymoon. I'm not sure how long it'll take to cross the Atlantic and clear customs, but it might be here before December!
