Quote of the Day
Mar. 23rd, 2006 01:37 pm"I want these mother------- snakes off the mother------- plane!"
- A fan-created dialogue snippet for "Snakes on a Plane;" when more footage was shot, execs actually had Samuel L. Jackson say the line for the movie.CNN.com covers the "Snakes on a Plane" phenomenom. I really feel that I need to go have a look at Snakesonablog.com now. On the other hand, I'm a little disappointed to hear that they ramped up the blood and sex to take the film from PG-13 to R. Someone should follow Hollywood people around reciting the definition of "gratuitous" until it sticks.

Mar. 23rd, 2006 02:38 pmThe Red Ribbons game log has updated for the last time until after Easter. Between a baby on the way, a dissertation to get done, and Easter services for our choirster and handbell choirster, it just seemed like a good time for some down time.
So... after a little from Column A and a little from Column B, and a small amount of justification that's actually a little too legitimate to be overt hand-waving...
Things actually look good. Half the data is in, and it is sufficiently good that I feel that I can present it without shame. There is no reason for the other half to be any worse. This comes too late, of course, to be incorporated into the "committee draft," but in ample time for the final draft. I feel like I should actually go ahead and order a hood and gown.
