I refuse to read any more articles on the JonBenet Ramsey case.

It was very sad, it was very sick, and it happened ten years ago. I'm glad they may have caught the perpetrator, but this is not more important than the Israel/Beruit conflict, the war in Iraq, or the rumblings of the maniacs leading North Korea and Iran.

Can we have the real news back, please?

In the many stories of King Arthur and his life and death, there is one that goes like this:

Arthur and Mordred have been at war. They meet on Salisbury Plain to parley - no swords are to be drawn. They argue, they bargain, but in the end, they agree. They will partition the land and the fighting will end.

Then one of the knights spots a serpent in the grass. He draws his sword to strike the venemous creature.

One of the knights on the other side only sees the sword being drawn. He fears treachery, and draws his own sword.

And then the fight begins that ends it all. It's all so terribly pointless and avoidable, and it brings the final tarnished remnants of Camelot tumbling down.

Got it?

Good.

Go read.
