My "Lord of the Rings as an RPG" spoof has broken 10,000 page hits! Granted, it's been up since... early 2002? Something like that... just after the first movie, I think. That's about 5 or 6 hits average per day, which I grant is not exactly compelling traffic, but still. More people have read that than probably anything else I've ever written, technical journal papers included.
