Silver lining
Mar. 22nd, 2007 11:30 amOn Sunday, we woke up to a cold house. Furnace was off. The Dear Spouse found the reset button, and there was heat.
Same story Tuesday.
Wednesday, the furnace restarted... and died. And restarted... and died. And was dead.
I came home, called the repairman, and made snickerdoodles. Y'know, to heat up the house.
Mmm. Snickerdoodle.
(Repairman fixed the problem: equivalent of a clogged fuel injector. Probably because we use fuel oil instead of kerosene. Repairman says kerosene is recommended, but more expensive. I'd need to check, but probably cost of yearly service/injector replacement would be less than additional cost of kerosene.)
