I've been trying to recall Dave Lenihan since the Imus/Rutgers thing started.

Lenihan? The guy who was in the middle of praising Condi Rice to the skies when... well, he says he meant to say "a big coup." He missed by a couple of letters.

He apologized. In his next breath. "Oh my God. I am totally, totally, totally, totally, totally sorry for that. I didn't mean that. It was just a slip of the tongue. She's definitely got all the attributes to be [football] commissioner. I'm really sorry about that."

He was fired within twenty minutes.

But I guess the Imus show makes a lot more money.
