Roadside America
Aug. 24th, 2007 07:59 amBefore I got to professional conventions, I like to stop by Roadside America to see what odd things might be in the area. This is how I found the Rosicrucian Museum in San Jose.
Last time we went to go see Grandma, our attempt to stop for fast food right off of PA Turnpike Exit 67 (Irwin) was foiled by construction. The local McDonalds was being turned into a McDonald's museum.
No, no wait, we heard that wrong. It's apparently a Big Mac Museum. Just the Macs, ma'am.
I am absurdly pleased that this new addition to American kitsch will open along one of my usual travel routes.
