Thursday, Presidential candidate Mitt Romney endorsed his former opponent, John McCain, adding, "Really, it's clear John is going to win, and I don't see why I should withhold my delegates and my support. And I would really like to be Vice President, please."
McCain, appearing with Romney said, "I'll have to think about that, Mitt, but it's something we could work. I wouldn't mind picking up your supporters in the West."
Reporters wanted to know whether McCain would be more likely to court the evangelical Christian vote by taking Huckabee as a running mate. "Do you see Huck up here with me?" McCain shot back. "I don't think you do."
