There's an archive of LIFE magazine photos on Google, and if you search them for "King Arthur," you get some interesting results. Who are these pre-Berkeley SCAdian sorts?

Got Medieval located the images and one of its readers solved the mystery: Bethany College of West Virginia had a College Joust, back in the 1950s.
