Aaand... What?

Is this supposed to make it so that you can't post a comment to YouTube unless you have something intelligent to say? It would take all of the fun out of several of teh intarnets.

Unless hackers secretly installed the as-yet undeveloped software onto YouTube's site *shifty look*, it would remain an unspoiled preserve of idiocy. They're just using YouTube comments as an easy source of training data.

A blogger could install it to auto-delete all comments on his site consisting of nothing but "ur so dum y u think that? n00b!!!!1!" from the comments section; someone with an RSS feed could filter out stupid content; and so on. Like spam filters, this doesn't get rid of the stupidity, but it can shield you from it. And one assumes, like spam filters, you could turn it off if you wanted.
