HA! I totally called this. Because, remember, the zombie pirates couldn't be killed in the first movie. So strapping a cannonball to Bootstrap Bill and tossing him overboard just put a zombie pirate at the bottom of the sea. He could pick up the cannonball and walk to shore! Sure, it might take months or longer, but what else is he going to do?
