From the School of the Creative Performing Arts...
DelMonte, a gradthing in Cinematography. DelMonte oozes charm and charisma. Literally. The amorphous, slimy shoggoth-like beast actually has quite a winning personality, and a skills set that makes him/her/it exceedingly popular at the more interesting sorts of parties. If you don't mind the slime, DelMonte's a good time!
Amaranth Shizuko, a gradthing in the PhysEd department. She graduated from Space Patrol's ROTC program on campus, but is hanging around for a Master's thesis on a fighting technique for blaster pistol and saber. The tiger-striped felinoid is a bit hot-headed (as a starfighter pilot, it's almost a prerequisite) but also does her best to scrupulously maintain the Space Patrol's code of behavior. She does mind the slime, as it mats her fur something terrible.
The morph-guy (if the PC has a name, I don't know it yet!), an SPCA gradthing in a department unknown to me, but who is undoubtedly heavily courted by the College of Obscure and Unhealthy Professions (I think that's what COUP stands for - the spies and assassins school). He (?) can take on any form he's seen; that alone would make him a standout COUP applicant. Add to that the ability to influence others' emotions and reactions with pheremones, and he's probably beating off several "recruitment" attempts a year. His views on slime are unknown.
From the College of Weird and Unusual Science and Engineering...
Captain Cannabis, a Biology gradthing. Near-constant use of medicinal "herb" to control his epilepsy somehow bestowed on the Captain super-heroic marijuana miracle-working. He also considers it his civic duty to keep the campus supplied with only the most superior, organically-grown, 100% pesticide and filler-free product. He and DelMonte have a working (slime-free) relationship; if one is contracted to supply goods for a party, they typically recommend the services of the other.
Slime
Date: 2004-05-04 05:32 am (UTC)"Slime" has such negative connotations. I prefer "Naturally-Produced Lubricant". People pay good money for Astroglide / KY. No one wants chafing / dryness. With me, it's never a problem.
