Five-lined skink!

Since the weather has been lovely, I've been quitting the gym in favor of a walk outside. And yesterday, I saw a lizard!



I don't think I've ever seen a lizard in the Northeast before. On vacation in Florida, we saw anoles. And I've seen grass snakes and black snakes outdoors here, plus painted and snapping turtles. In high school, Nature Club found some salamanders, and I've seen frogs and toads. But not a lizard!

So that was pretty cool.

Yeah they're around, we've got a couple that live under the logs that border our driveway.
