teleribSo I read Fark.com. The headlines often amuse me; some of the news is interesting. I don't read the comments regularly, but I get sucked in sometimes. It doesn't take too long to learn the typical rhythms of the comments sections, either.
Today sported the headline:
"Deliberately inflammatory headline regarding political issue distorts actual content of article with intent to provoke irrational conflicts among debaters. Sarcastic request for members of opposing ideology to inhale sharply" with a link to this Google Image Search for "politics troll.".
You see, Fark.com gets a lot of headlines of the form parodied by the headline.
But even more amusing to me were the comments for this thread. Some of the references will surely make no sense if you are not a forum-goer there, but there's enough that's generic to any Internet BBS that it might be worth a look.
