We have a program review meeting in a month, where I will need to present. I will need clothes for this, business clothes, because I doubt that the clothes I can wear now will fit in a month. And while most of my office is fine with jeans and a clean shirt most of the time, program reviews require something a bit more spiff.

(FWIW, I usually try to wear something better than jeans and a clean shirt - although I am so not stressing about it as my clothing options are diminishing. I have been in sneakers for at least a month. No one cares and my feet are more happy.)

This looked appropriate and, bonus, was on sale for $20. But alas, they cancelled my order - all out of my size, apparently. The hazards of buying discount!

So, back to the drawing board. Motherwear has this jacket which I have been coveting, and it is back on sale. That, a white shell or tank, and brown pants (alas, the made-to-match pants aren't made in my size) and I'd be in business.

(Although... corduroy? But the picture doesn't look like corduroy to me.)

Well, I'm not sure what size you wear, or how we could work out the hand off, but I have a suit that IIRC is size 18 and you could borrow. It's a tan linen pants suit. If you are interested, let me know.

Thanks! Size 18 ought to work, if it's size 18 maternity. (My current clothes are size 18 non-maternity and fit for now, but I suspect that may not be the case in a month!) We're going to Noisemakers' Schola at the end of the month - that's about the only time I can think we might be able to do a handoff before March 1. (And that way, if it doesn't fit, there's also still time to try and buy something... because you know that Brand A's size 18 can be nothing like Brand B's...)

It isn't a maternity 18, but still might work for you, as I carry much of my weight in the tummy area (and accidentally found at one point, much to my un-pregnant chagrine, that maternity pants fit me quite well). I have another, slightly larger outfit that might work for you as well. It's not nearly as nice as the suit, but it's brown slacks and a matching jacket that have a bit of spandex. Phil and I won't be attending any events until after the wedding, but it looks like you'll be about 30-40 minutes from our house, so we might be able to work something out. And hey, maybe I can get you those photos at the same time, lol.
