It's about time
Jul. 6th, 2004 08:37 amMasked Iraqis deliver videotaped threat but this time it's aimed at Jordanian al-Zarqawi.
I'd prefer it if it were the Iraqi Interim Government making these sorts of statements, but it's good to hear *anyone* in Iraq publicly speaking out against their "liberators" and their tactics. It is not so good to hear that their plans entail the same sort of tactics they are railing against. I hope they do catch him, but hand him over to the authorities to be deported to Jordan, where I believe he's under a death sentence.
Another resolution might have greater satisfaction, but this habit of private citizens capturing and killing people they "know" deserve it has got to stop. Even if I think they're right, in this case.
