Electric Heat
Mar. 7th, 2005 12:31 pmAnybody out there in LJ-Land have any idea about what it would cost to heat a 2BR apartment with electric heat in the DC/Baltimore area?
Our electric bill for the townhouse is currently (I think) in the $80 range and goes up to the $130 range during the summer, for the A/C, but our winter heat is gas. We're considering an apartment where electric is not included and the heating is electric. I'm trying to figure out monthly cost for this thing, and this hidden cost is befuddling me a bit. Are we talking $100/mo? $150? $200?
