So I haven't really been keeping current with "Annie." (Yes, Li'l Orphan Annie. She has a comic.) It was pretty hard to top the crazed iguana-loving, UFO-summoning, cross-dressing Satanist story arc. But it was still on my links list, so I popped back in recently to see what was up.

...something about the dog (Sandy) being hit by a car, and the kids what done it being a local mobster's son, so they aren't brought to justice, and the newspaper gets involved and... and the mobster goes after the paper, then... something about a crazy loon who everyone thinks is the Godfather and... um... the mobster lays of the paper, I think... whatever.

But Annie is still upset that the boys who hit Sandy never had to pay. So two ghosts who are apparently just hanging around and like Annie (because who doesn't like Annie?) summon the spirits of all the animals the boys have ever run over to... well, I suppose I'll have to read tomorrow to find out.

Ghosts using animals to attack mobsters. Why does that sound familiar?

The data? For my dissertation?

Is collected.

(Now, that's not to say that there isn't more data that could be collected, or that my advisor won't see the Constraint Set 6 results and demand that they be redone, or anything like that. But. The. Data. Is. Collected. This could, in theory, be the last time I'll have to run that damn program.)
