AP report on leaked friendly fire video.

BBC report on the same video.

No question, somebody screwed up and Lance Corporal Hull died as a result. But one article appears to show careless American "cowboy" flyboys who couldn't wait to start bombing things. One article appears to show conscientious American pilots who double-checked with their command that these were valid targets.

Or am I totally off-base in that assessment?

"At 28 weeks' gestation 25% of babies are breech, and the percentage decreases approaching term (40 weeks' gestation)."
- Wikipedia entry for breech birth.

Whew. See, the latest ultrasound showed the Spud still in a breech position. I know babies can move around quite a lot at 20 weeks (the first ultrasound, also breech) and that their mobility decreases with time. But no one had said when they kinda get "stuck" in their birth position. That 25% at 28 weeks drops to about 3-7% at birth, and we're only at week 24, so Spud has time to get himself properly turned around.
