Where did my quiet little baby go?

I think he's swallowing air when he takes his bottles, or something, because now we have Fun with Burping, sometimes for over an hour at a time. But it's also probably partly a comfort thing - I noticed that if I hold him or wear him, he tends to quiet down, but if I try to lay him down, holy hell breaks loose, complete with straining and contorted faces and twisting and crying.

In more amusing news, this seems to sum up the other part of baby care well enough.
