Do I stay or do I go?
Oct. 25th, 2007 02:41 pmIt's been a traveling month, and next month will be a traveling month, so I feel like I should get to church since I'll have the opportunity this weekend.
Of course, it's the "Dia de los Muertos" service - yeah, the one where I totally broke down and lost it last year. I don't mean a few discreet tears - I mean I had to go outside because of the huge chest-heaving sobs. I apparently felt better afterwards, according to last year's LJ, but I can't say I'm looking forward to it.
Maybe I can hide in the parish hall and read some Thoreau or something.

Date: 2007-10-25 08:40 pm (UTC)*sigh* Time-management/life-balance problems a-go-go - they make me very jealous of my weekend time, even though furthering some kind of spiritual growth is theoretically important to me. It's just so easy to let other stuff, even other important other stuff like family, run it off the road.
Guess this is why they felt compelled to make 'Keep holy the Sabbath day' a commandment and all.

I hope things go well for you Sunday, whether you make it to the service or not.
