...to wonder WTF was up with Grendel's mom's stiletto feet in Beowulf.
Good news: Both Ebert and Berardinelli, with whom I usually agree, like the movie. Not, granted, as great cinema, but as a fun fantasy adventure that isn't stupid. The eye candy is being compared to 300. And it has John Malkovich as Unferth. That ought to be pretty awesome.
I'll also start crossing my fingers that National Treasure: Book of Secrets manages to be as surprisingly fun as National Treasure. I'm not holding my breath, though: sequels have it harder.
