(Actually, the monkey-racoon was apparently a kinkajou. And the pet store was in Las Vegas. That there are goats for sale in Las Vegas makes me rather uneasy.)

I really haven't the foggiest idea; I just saw that soundbite quoted on Defamer (http://www.defamer.com) and reposted it. It reminded me of the Turkish sheep-lemming chimeras (http://www.livescience.com/animalworld/ap_050708_sheep_deaths.html).

Heh...apparantly Hilton has a weak spot for impulsive buys exotic pets, without much of the sense God gave....well, gave the kinkajou.

"They" took it away from her about a week after she bought it; some LA ordinance prohibits having them as pets. Boo hoo in Whoville, etc.

Can't remember whether it was right before or right after; but during a trip to Australia, she was also spotted trying to adopt a baby kangaroo. With about as much forethought, I'll bet.
