(Actually, the monkey-racoon was apparently a kinkajou. And the pet store was in Las Vegas. That there are goats for sale in Las Vegas makes me rather uneasy.)

Date: 2005-12-14 12:17 am (UTC)impulsive buysexotic pets, without much of the sense God gave....well, gave the kinkajou."They" took it away from her about a week after she bought it; some LA ordinance prohibits having them as pets. Boo hoo in Whoville, etc.
Can't remember whether it was right before or right after; but during a trip to Australia, she was also spotted trying to adopt a baby kangaroo. With about as much forethought, I'll bet.
