Ah, the shiny newness of a recent project! Untarnished by months (or days... or minutes...) of frustration, just wide open spaces of opportunity and exploration! A playground for the mind!

[livejournal.com profile] telerib, what are you talking about?

Um... I'm starting up a new role-playing game.

That's nice, dear.

And it has a webpage! I like making webpages. Flying Koala has a page, and Temple Silver, and Tune In Next Week! (oh... poor Tune In! It needs some love...), and um... well, there are a bunch.

I'm sure they're very nice.

You wanna see my new one? It's not really done yet... the front page is kind of uninformative... but it's called Red Ribbons and it talks all about the really messed up family the PCs belong to.

Um... well, I'm at work, dear.

Oh. Okay. I mean, I know other people's role-playing games aren't very interesting, anyway. So it's okay if you don't want to look.

...I made the title graphic myself! I think it's pretty, although maybe a little fussy.

It's very nice, and I'm sure it will be a fun game.

Yay!

Who decided that "Razr" was a good name for a cell phone?

Seriously! The radio DJ keeps talking about how much he loves his Motorola Razr (pronounced "Razor") and I think it's an ad for a personal grooming item.

The world is cruel to rosemary plants.

This one I had for two years. For most of that time, it lived very happily in a south-facing window in my office. Then they moved me out of the office, and I had to bring the plant home.

Over the summer, it was outside and loved it! It grew and grew and was so happy and healthy!

And then the winter came. I moved it inside.

And it died. They always die inside, in the winter, because I have not lived in a house with a south-facing window since 1999.

Damn it.
